After earning a degree in philosophy and film in Paris in 2021, Laure Stemmann worked at Eaux Vives Productions in Paris on award-winning international films such as "Plus Que Jamais" by Emily Atef (2021 Cannes Film Festival) and films by Paz Encina, Siegrid Alnoy, Maryam Touzani, and Nabyl Ayouch. She then joined the Master’s program in film production at INSAS in Brussels, worked at Anga Productions, and continued as a development consultant in Belgium, France, and the Middle East. After organizing the European Film Festival in Lebanon in 2023, she co-founded Specimen Films with Lucas Stephanik to produce, in 2024, Arthur Michel’s first Belgian-Kosovar feature film, "Where the Giants Sleep" (formerly "Leskovik", supported by the Wallonia-Brussels Federation Film Center, RTBF, Proximus, the National Lottery, and the Kosovo Film Center).
Selected for Générations Alentours at Cineuro 2024, the ZFF Academy 2025, and the MOP-Meetings in 2026, she founded Tamam Films in 2025 in Brussels with André Logie and Gaëtan David.
