Nastasja Saerens is a DOP from Belgium, who studied cinematography in l’Institut des Arts de Diffusion in Louvain-la-Neuve where she obtained a masters degree in 2013. After that, she worked on a number of short films and documentaries that earned prizes at different festivals across the world including the Best Cinematography prize for her work on “Houle Sentimentale” (Tom Boccara) in Festimatge, Barcelona. Throughout her work, she is continually searching to expand the narrative capacities of the image. This ambition lead her to earn a second masters degree in script writing in 2017. In 2020, she shot “Employee of the Month” (Véronique Jadin), her first feature and, in 2022, she becomes an official member of the Belgian Society of Cinematographers.
